Privacy and Cookies
This notice explains what personal data is processed when you use Casinos Poland or e-mail us, why, and what rights you have. In short: we do not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and we do not ask you to register or fill in forms.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data processed through this website is Casinos.org.pl, the publisher of Casinos Poland. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].
What data we process
- Technical data when you visit the website. Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic information about each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the address of the page that linked to it and details of your browser and device. These records are known as server logs.
- Your e-mails. If you e-mail us, we receive your e-mail address, your name if you include it and the content of your message.
We do not ask you to create an account, we have no contact forms or search boxes, and we do not collect payment details.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
- Server logs are used to deliver the website, keep it secure and investigate technical problems or misuse.
- E-mails are used to reply to you and handle your request, such as a correction.
In both cases the legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website and answering the people who contact us (GDPR, art. 6(1)(f)).
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept only for as long as they are needed for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted in line with our hosting provider's routine log rotation. E-mails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up, and are then deleted.
Who receives it
Our hosting provider and our e-mail service provider process data on our behalf to run the website and our mailbox. They may use it only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers. We would disclose data to public authorities only where the law requires it. If any provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards required by the GDPR must be in place.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage, analytics, advertising tags, social media plug-ins or third-party fonts. We therefore do not show a cookie banner. If this changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it (Electronic Communications Law, art. 399).
Links to other websites, such as official authorities or betting.org.pl, take you to websites with their own privacy practices.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for access to the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data or to restrict how we use it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
To use these rights, e-mail [email protected]. We will reply without undue delay and within one month. In complex cases this can be extended by two more months, and we will tell you if that happens.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO). See UODO's guide to your GDPR rights (in Polish).
