About Casinos Poland

Casinos Poland is an English-language information resource about online casino law in Poland, published by Casinos.org.pl. We explain the rules, the risks and where to get help, using official Polish sources.

Why we publish this guide

Poland's gambling rules are unusual. Online casino games are a state monopoly, players as well as operators can be penalised for using illegal websites, and most official information is available only in Polish. Many English speakers who live in or visit Poland do not know this until they run into a blocked website, a refused payment or a fine.

Our aim is simple: to explain the law and the official sources clearly in English, so that readers can make informed and safer decisions.

What you will not find here

We do not advertise, promote, review or rank casino websites, and we do not publish casino bonuses or links to casino websites. Polish law bans the advertising and promotion of casino games, and our purpose is to explain the rules, not to encourage gambling.

For online sports betting, which private companies can offer with a Polish permit, we point readers to betting.org.pl's searchable database of licensed betting operators.

Not a government website

Casinos Poland is not a government website. It is not connected to the Ministry of Finance, the National Revenue Administration or any other public authority, and it cannot issue, confirm or withdraw licences. Official decisions and records come only from the authorities, and we link to them throughout the site.

How we work

Every guide is based on the current consolidated text of Polish law and on official pages. Each page shows when its sources were last checked. Read about our sources and editorial methodology, including how we translate legal terms.
